Sean Moore Park
Hawthorn Heights are delighted to have completed the new state of the art play area at Sean Moore Park, Dublin.
The play area, managed by Dublin City Council, was funded by the Dublin Waste to Energy Community Gain Fund for Sandymount Tidy Towns and has been a desired facility for the local area for many years. Local families can now enjoy the fantastic play area right on their doorstep. The much anticipated play area incorporates a sea theme due to the coastal location.
There are 25 items of play that are a range of timber, steel and robinia items of play equipment to cater for toddlers, junior and the more senior adventurous users. The play area is surfaced in wetpour with graphics, grass mats, turf mounds, play bark and golden gravel paths. The sea theme of the play area incorporates the Sandymount Beach location next to it. We have included a bespoke lighthouse play unit, a boat play unit and sea life springers to tie in with the theme. The project was completed on time and within budget.
Hawthorn Heights feel privileged to have carried out the works and are extremely proud of the finished play area. We are confident the play facility will become a major asset to the local community.
