The original play area was installed approximately ten years ago and was a well used facility. However the park was outdated and required some modernisation to meet current regulations, plus it lacked imaginative, social & tactile play. Hawthorn Heights were the appointed contractor for the design solution and the upgrade of Eamonn Ceannt Play Area following a detailed procurement process.

Eamonn Ceannt Park Crumlin is named after one of the executed leaders of the 1916 rising. Locals can now enjoy the fantastic play area right at their doorstep. Our play area boasts a diverse range of play items, carefully selected to cater to every child’s imagination and adventure from eco-friendly plastics to timeless classics, our installation features ten unique play elements designed to spark joy and foster creativity. The play area is surfaced with grass matting, rubber mulch and play grade sand.
